Come Back To Yourself - A Balance Series

There are moments in life where something just feels… different.

Not necessarily wrong. Not dramatic. But maybe a little out of sync.

You might feel it in your body. In your thoughts. In how you respond to things that usually feel easy.

And sometimes, you can’t quite explain it — you just know you’re not fully there.

In yoga, we sometimes use the concept of chakras to explore these shifts.

You can think of them as different centers within you, each connected to parts of your life like safety, creativity, confidence, love, expression, and clarity.

Again — nothing you have to believe in, but something you can begin to notice.

Because when one of these areas needs a little attention, it often shows up in very real, human ways:

  • in how you feel
  • in how you think
  • in how you move through your day

This series is here to gently support you in that awareness.

Each part focuses on one chakra:

  • what it represents
  • how balance can feel
  • how imbalance might show up in everyday life

And then, most importantly:

simple practices you can return to

No fixing. No pressure. No need to get it right.

Just small ways to reconnect to your body, your breath, and yourself.

Start wherever you feel drawn or move through all 8, one by one.

In Kundalini Yoga, we honor the natural cycles of the body.
If you are menstruating or pregnant, please give yourself extra care during your practice. Whenever a kriya calls for Breath of Fire, Root Lock, or strong abdominal exercises (such as Stretch Pose or Sat Kriya), simply replace them with Long Deep Breathing. This way, your practice stays safe, supportive, and nourishing.

And, as always, before you start a new exercise routine, we recommend consulting with your doctor or healthcare provider, especially if you have any existing conditions or concerns.
